Trauma Recovery

Trauma can take many forms, including psychological, physical or sexual abuse, natural disaster, combat or emergency response service, collective trauma, or bullying. Regardless of the form it takes, its effects can be devastating. PTSD (Post-traumatic stress disorder), anxiety, depression and other mental health challenges are common results of living with or witnessing trauma in your private life, workplace or military service. It IS possible to reclaim lost dignity, cultivate new strength and find hope for the future.

If you have been diagnosed with a trauma-induced condition such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Acute Stress Disorder, Major Depression or other disorder, you are not alone. Consider thinking of the diagnosis not as a label, but as an answer. Having an answer to the question, “Why do I feel this way?” opens the door to evidence-based solutions, support and research-proven paths toward healing. Join me as we destigmatize trauma-induced disorders and explore the many tools that science and self-care have to offer.
